Only 45 minutes east of Quebec, Isle-aux-Grues will charm you. Take the free ferry from Montmagny or take the plane and discover all the magic of the archipelago. The Maisons du Grand-Héron are located immediately to the right as you leave the ferry, right next to the tourist information office.
Fromagerie de l'Isle-aux-Grues is the largest artisanal cheese factory in Canada. Enjoy its unique products, recipients of several international awards thanks to its pastures and its particular island micro-climate.
During the summer season, don't forget to visit the Museum of the Island as well as the Mi-Carême Exhibition.
Admire some of the hundreds of different bird species listed on the Isle by exploring the many trails, including those of the Jean-Paul-Riopelle Nature Reserve.
