Since the summer of 2022, we have at your disposal 10 new electrically assisted bicycles accessible to all visitors of Isle-aux-Grues.
We are located directly at the end of the wharf. It is therefore quite possible to leave your car at the Montmagny dock, take the ferry as a pedestrian and take your e-bike when you arrive on the island. And since there is a maximum of cars that can board the ship and no limit for the number of pedestrians, you will eliminate the stress of running out of space on the crossing that suits you.
And at Isle-aux-Grues., we don't really like stress...
When you take possession of your e-bike, you will have a full capacity battery that will allow you to visit the island without hassle and without exhausting yourself. Just fun!
In addition, the wide tires of our e-bikes are perfect for riding on all surfaces of the island. Take the opportunity to observe rare birds on the Chemin des Battures...
Our bikes all have a rear seat allowing two passengers to be on the same vehicle (up to a maximum of 325 pounds or 147 kg).
Note that to have the right to drive an electric bicycle, you must be 14 years of age or older. From 14 to 17 years old, it is mandatory to have at least a class 6D license authorizing the driving of a moped.
This is why we added a rear seat!
The Quebec Highway Safety Code provides specific rules for people who ride an electric bicycle, including the obligation to wear a bicycle helmet.
That's why we provide you with the helmet for free when you rent our e-bike.
